History

The Selma Mansion is not part of the HOA, however it is an historic property and former plantation located adjacent to the Selma Estates property.  Selma is best known as the residence of Armistead Thomson Mason, a U.S. Senator from Virginia from 1816 through 1817.

The history for this property dates back to 1794. In March of 2016, the mansion and 50 acres was purchased by Sharon D. Virts and Scott F. Miller and restoration was begun. To read more about the history of Selma Mansion, visit this Selma Mansion Rebirth website.

Washington Life Magazine published an article in July 2019, Inside Homes: Reinventing Selma.
